Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra proudly presents BITOTSAV '15, the annual inter-college cultural festival of the institute, a 5 day extravaganza featuring a plethora of cultural events during the days, with the nights reserved for letting yourself loose on the show-front. An array of Fine Arts, Music, Dance, Literary and Oratory events comprise the cultural section, sparking the creative spirits in every individual, while sparing more than enough time for everyone to socialize and have the time of their lives. The nights are an invigorating and enthralling mélange of scintillating Dance Performances, mind numbing Band Concerts and thought provoking Dramatics, coupled with guest performances from some of the most talented and popular artists in the country. CELEBRITY QUOTIENT: In the past, exponents like Padma Shri Rita Ganguly singers like Farhan Akhtar, Kailash Kher, Javed Ali , Siddhartha Mahadevan , bands like Breathe (Cover Band of Pink Floyd), Euphoria, Jal , Advaita , Mrigya , UnderGround Authority , Scribe and stand-up artists of the likes of Kumar Vishwas , Nitin Gupta (a.k.a Rivaldo) , Surendra Sharma have enthralled and mesmerized massive audiences at BITOTSAV. BITOTSAV’12 witnessed JAL- the Band. BITOTSAV’13 saw the exclusive Kailash Kher with his entire Kailasa perform to tumultuous applause and BITOTSAV’14 witnessed none other than Farhan Akhtar and Siddharth Mahadevan along with entire team of Farhan Live.

How to Reach Ranchi By Air - Ranchi is well linked to important airports in India, including Patna, Lucknow, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. Ranchi airport is located at Hinoo, nearly 7 km away from the city centre. The nearest international airport is Kolkata. By Train - Ranchi railhead is well connected to important cities all over the country and falls under South Eastern Railway network. All the trains to Ranchi halt at either the Ranchi Junction or the Hatia Railway Station. By Bus - The roadways leading to Ranchi have made the city easily accessible from different parts of the country. Ranchi is situated on the National Highway 23 and 33.
